I read this twice..So nice..so beautiful and so right on. It is exhausting always trying to be the hero of the story. We are bombarded with ways to be "better" and I am so tired of it. No self help books or diets or clothes for me.
In a way it is like your dad on palliative care..no more searching for cures or going to doctor after doctor. All that is left is to live our best life...just as we are.
